The Women’s Premier League Committee has received a presentation from Kay Sports in support of current suspended competition, first of its kind.
Rosalind Koramah Amoh, deputy chairperson of the Women’s Premier League Committee has expressed excitement at this kind gesture. She acknowledged the efforts of the committee yielding fruits after numerous hunt for sponsorship from cooperate bodies.She assured all items will be given to the respective sixteen women’s clubs.
Kwame Owusu Ameyaw, Chief Executive Officer of Kay Sports explained Kay Sports is yet to spread its wings in Ghana and have decided to grow with the women in football hence answering the committee’s call of assistance. He praised the good works of the current leadership and encouraged them to do more.
He stated the comfortability and excitement of the women will be proof the dynamics of the game has been changed, which is their main goal.
Kwame Owusu has urged all athletes to put in their best so their invest can yield more whiles calling on other cooperate bodies to join in their new journey. Kay Sports has pledged full support to the Ghana Football Association and all sporting federations as they assured an increase in items when league resumes.
The listed items were; hundred and sixty pack of bottled water, sixteen boxes of nose mask containing fifty pieces each.
Chairperson of the Women’s Premier League Committee, Hillary Boateng was happy to announce how handy this gesture will be to all sixteen clubs. She believes this will be of very good use, disclosing her expectation of more gestures from their new family when the need be.
