Football is not a priority of this administration- Takyi Arhin

Football administrator and Black stars B management member, Takyi Arhin AKA Thunder has spilled the beans on , football as a less priority of the current administration.

In an interview with Twifoman FM, he explained his observations saying ;

“ During NPP primaries, Carlos Ahenkorah who has tested positive for Covid-19 was seen exchanging pleasantries with quite a number of people, after he went home with no spread of fear on that”

“The Ghana Football Association and Executive Council have done their best in submitting documentation to the Government and it’s officials on Covid-19 protocols being observed when football resumes but it seems the core mandate has been relegated for the focus of the Sports minister thus infrastructure “

“The least said about the National Sports Authority CEO the better, these kind of people don’t understand the job”

In recruit for a new technical director for the Ghana Football Association, Thunder has described Ghanaian coaches as enemies of themselves and not united.

In reference to Kwesi Appiah’s demotion, he rhetorically questioned , which of these local coaches stood to defend him?

He added, “ We need someone who is not a toss-over, also not someone who is only interested in the benefits the job comes with”

Finalizing his thoughts, he mentioned whoever is fit for the job should be given the opportunity.
