We can’t stay idle forever, the government should do something- Albert Aryeetey Commey

On resumption of the Ghana Premier league, Albert Aryeetey Commey , Chief Executive Officer of Eleven Wonders Football Club has stated the football fraternity and government should stop deceiving themselves and continue football with supporters trooping in the stadia to catch a glimpse of matches.

Talking of resumed leagues in other countries, he revealed mass supporters behind stadia on match days without social distance. Looking at the current global crisis, he quizzed if the virus is to stay for two or three years, will authorities stay idle. He mentioned the government can do something to bring football back if they could hold parliamentary primaries.

Albert Commey has declared testing of players can be discussed with the government to resume football. He has confirmed payment of first Startimes quota among clubs before corona even though he can’t state exact amount given each club.

Like Oliver Twist, he stated they keep wanting more admitting sponsorship from the Ghana Football Association doesn’t solve all club problems.
