Ignoring the Sports industry for politics is egocentric – Albert Aryeetey Commey

Chief Executive Officer of Eleven Wonders Football Club, Albert Aryeetey Commey has questioned the government on abandoning the Sports industry for politics.

He quizzed about the outburst at the New Patriotic Party Primaries whether it was not expected and if so what answer are they giving the football fraternity.

Football has been suspended for some months now thus no matches or trainings and this is causing a raise in cost. The Ghana Football Association stimulus package request has not yet been granted.

Albert Commey elaborated on the importance of football in the country. Citing an example with the 40,000 capacity of the Accra Sports Stadium, he believes a minimum of 20,000 spectators with necessary precautionary measures can bring back football than to ignore the Sports industry for politics which is egocentric.
