Ridge City Women Football Club goal machine, Faraday, born Kafui Fumey Dorcas in an Instagram live interview with Kwaku Baah host of Cue Sports on Homebase Tv yesterday disclosed reasons for her upcoming Single and possible EP Album.
The striking dynamo has remained relevant in the football scene since 2019, emerging top scorer for both her club and school team. She is set to release a single dubbed “Echoes From The Past” which features bigwig of the Black Queens , Elizabeth Addo. The said piece is aimed at the challenges and rejections a young female has to go through by virtue of her personal preference in pursuit of the male dominated sport, football in the African community.
“The single, arrives as a poetic piece blended with a touch of rhythm and focuses on the plight of female footballers”, she mentioned.
She discussed the EP Album as a compilation of poetic masterpiece devised by herself to bring hope, to challenge, to inspire and to help change the narrative of the young ambitious female in her quest to defy all odds in reaching the top.
Faraday is poised for global attention and a possible national team call up. She has urged her colleagues to take up schooling as a next option to life after football.
